Karnataka CET 2010
The Common Entrance Test, commonly known as CET is conducted every year by the Karnataka Examination Authority for Students seeking admissions into Engineering and Medical Colleges spread out across the state of Karnataka.
A little word for those visitors who dont know anything about CET . The CET is an objective type exam. You have to answer 60 questions in 70 minutes time. You will be issued the OMR answer sheet 15 minutes prior to the issue of the Question paper(1st Bell). At this time you have to enter your only your Name & CET number.At the 2nd Bell, you will be issued the Question Paper and you have to enter the Version Code and Serial Number of the Question Booklet on the on the OMR answer sheet. At the 3rd Bell, you have to remove the staples on the right side of the Question Paper Booklet. This will open the Question Paper Booklet and now you have to begin answering the exam.
The above format holds good for all the papers - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Aptitude.
The Karnataka CET Results are a turning point and a deciding factor to the future profession of a Student. Preparation for the CET should usually begin in the 10th standard vacation itself. You will be competing against thousands of students aspiring to become Engineers and Doctors.
Selection of seats is based on your ranking in CET Results. You will be issued an Engineering and Medical ranking(if you write Biology Paper). The CET Brochure consists of CET Results ranking cutoff the the previous year which will give you an idea of which Colleges you can select this year. Do a proper research of the Colleges you plan to take an admission in, else it will be your career spoiler.
